- Outdoor Router: Ensures connectivity in various environments.
- Software: Includes applications for data analysis and alert management on Linux or Windows PCs.
Data Analysis Process
- Data Acquisition: Continuous real-time data collection by the IMU.
- Preprocessing: Removes noise and drift using filters.
- Segmentation: Identifies regions of interest based on detected events.
- Feature Extraction: Extracts key features like peak acceleration and impact duration.
- Event Detection: Detects significant events by comparing features against thresholds.
- Summation and Cumulative Analysis: Assesses cumulative effects of multiple impacts.
- Alert Generation: Generates alerts if cumulative impact exceeds safety thresholds.
- Data Transmission: Sends processed data and alerts to the base station.
- Visualization and Reporting: Provides insights into impact patterns and potential risks.
Alert System
- Alert Message: “We measured a high signal or a summation of hits. Please check them out.”
- Alert Criteria: Based on NIH data, alerts are triggered for impacts over 2Z.
