About the Founder: Abhi Kothapalli
Abhi Kothapalli is a dedicated and ambitious individual with a strong passion for healthcare and science. Aspiring to study medicine, Abhi has demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation. He is the visionary behind a startup that won accolades at the 2024 Olympiad @ Stanford University and The Global Young Entrepreneurs organization (TYE) with their Brain Impact Protection System for young athletes.
Abhi has excelled in leadership roles, community service, and is a pro rower. He completed an onsite internship at a high-fidelity medical simulation company in the Netherlands and continues to support them remotely. Additionally, he participated in a prestigious young scholars program at the University of Washington, gaining valuable insights and experience.
This summer, Abhi has secured a highly selective internship with the Harvard Ventures-TECH Summer Program, a distinguished program offering invaluable experience working with venture-backed startups and industry experts. This opportunity will allow him to deepen his knowledge and hone his skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.

The startup secured $8K in funding and resources, along with valuable VC support, propelling its mission to revolutionize head impact monitoring. Additionally, BIPS has received an award disbursement investment from esteemed Synapses Ventures, further strengthening its capacity to bring innovative head impact protection solutions to the market.
